Medicare Services
Medicare-eligible consultations and services are generally bulk billed for patients with a valid Medicare card.
Procedures
Some procedures, consumables and treatment services may attract a private fee.
Non-Medicare Services
Services not covered by Medicare are privately billed.
Bulk Billing
Where a consultation or service is eligible under Medicare, Bargo Doctors generally bulk bills the service directly to Medicare. Patients should ensure their Medicare details are current at the time of attendance.
Private Fees
Some procedures and services may involve an out-of-pocket cost. Where possible, our team will advise you of any expected fee before the service is provided.
Non-Medicare Services
Private fees may apply to employment medicals, insurance reports, forms and certificates, travel medicine, selected vaccines, consumables, medical reports and other services not covered by Medicare.
Procedures & Additional Charges
Some procedures performed at Bargo Doctors may attract a private fee even when the associated consultation is bulk billed.
This may include certain minor procedures, wound care, dressings, consumables and other treatment-related services.
